Status: Uncommon. Habit and Habitat: Found in the vegetated areas of forest and mixed evergreen forests. Flight weak. Often seen basking with wings open. Remarkable dark-red upper side of both fore and hind wings. Under side similar with Rapala dieneces but more reddish. Local Distribution: Central and southeast regions. Range: Bangladesh, India, Myanmar, Thailand, Cambodia, Singapore and Vietnam
