Status:
Common. Habit and Habitat: Found in all types of habitats namely homestead vegetation, farmland, agriculture field, roadside bushes, gardens, disturbed lands, hills, forests and deciduous forest. Flight fast. Commonly seen on ground level bushes and visiting the flowers close to ground. Prefers puddle on wet sand and rocks. Similar with Prosotas dubiosa, Prosotas bhutea, Prosotas pia and Ionolyce helicon. Local Distribution: Widely distributed. Range: Bangladesh, India, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Myanmar, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia and Vietnam.
