Status: Rare. Habit and Habitat: Flight weak. Restricted in the mixed evergreen forest. Found in the trail, open place and forest patch in a forest. Male are commonly seen puddle on wet rocks, sands and muds in watery trail. Prefers sunny place. Similar with Castalius rosimon but smaller in size and spots of fore and hind wings are dark and color also dark. Local Distribution: Northeast and southeast regions. Range: Bangladesh and India
