Status: Common. Habit and Habitat: Flight slow. Male territorial, after flying a short distance it come back its same spot again and again. Male and female have differences in the upper side of fore and hind wings. Male has large white spots are suffused with purple but female has not. Males are more commonly found than female. Occasionally feeding on fruit. Found in homestead vegetation, plain land, deciduous and mixed evergreen forests and hilly areas. Local Distribution: Widely distributed. Range: India, Thailand, Singapore, Myanmar, Laos, Vietnam and Bangladesh
