Status: Rare. Habit and Habitat: Found in the mixed evergreen forests of high elevation. Prefers in the forest edges and open areas near forest. Flight slow. Often seen visiting flowers for nectar. Male and female dissimilar. Female has stripes of white markings on both side of wings. White stripes absent in male but dot like marking present. Dark blue shade with white spots present in the upper side of fore wings of both sexes. Local Distribution: Southeast and northeast regions. Range: Myanmar, Bangladesh, Thailand, Laos, India, Cambodia, Vietnam, China, Singapore and Malaysia.
