Status: Very common. Habit and Habitat: Flight slow. Found in the homestead vegetation, agriculture field, roadside bushes, dry areas, open land, gardens, forest edges and hilly areas of mixed evergreen forest. Often seen both male and female flight around it’s larval host Citrus plants. Larval stages associated with Ant attendance and it has mutualism with Ants. Prefers to flight close to ground. Sometimes basking with open wings in a sunny place. Regularly visiting flowers of herbs and shrubs. It shows polyphenism. Local Distribution: Widely distributed. Range: Bangladesh, India, Sri Lanka, Myanmar, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam, Hainan and China.
