Status: Common. Habit and Habitat: Flight weak. Flies with jerking and does not cover long distance. It settles bushes close to the ground. Found in secondary forest, homestead vegetation, disturbed vegetative forest, plain and hilly forest, mixed evergreen forest and road side bushes. Male and female looks similar but female is paler. It has similarities with Ariadne merione but wing margin is wavy and curved. Local Distribution: Widely distributed. Range: Bangladesh and India
