Status: Common. Habit and Habitat: Flight fast and rapid. Found bushes close to ground to tree top. Habitat in plain land, gardens, homestead vegetation, hilly areas, deciduous forests and mixed evergreen forests. Commonly seen sipping on mud, wet rocks and sand banks. Sometimes also sipping on sweat of human body. Similar with Anthene lycaenina but a discal black spot absent. Local Distribution: Widely distributed. Range: Bangladesh, India, Myanmar, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam, Hainan and China.
